A gorgeous evening for a ride so Pete, John and I met halfway up the hill to Pendam, rode up to the top and then did a circuit of the Summit Trail.

All good fun and other than a flat for Pete all went well. It was John's first ride since fracturing his finger and damaging his ankle in an innocuous looking crash, and my shins were hurting and ankle is still sore too so we were taking it fairly easy.

Good to be out on the hardtail for a change too, although it isn't as comfortable as my Commencal!
